The board of directors of the association consists of seven individuals who serve 3 year terms. Five board members are selected by association members, subject to approval by the Alaska Director of Insurance, and two board members are consumers appointed by the Alaska Director of Insurance. The director or the director’s designee is a non-voting ex officio member of the board.
